This item is a lot less expensive than going to a machinist or gunsmith. Plus you can do it yourself in seconds, and it can be taken off just as easily.

It surrounds the front sight and barrel for a secure fit. Super simple and very effective with the .22LR or .308 round.

Slip on your Ruger 10/22 without having to modidfy the barrel. It slips over the front sight and barrel, then tightens with 3 set screws.

Alloy steel that is MIL-SPEC black oxide finish for years of trouble free service.
This may fit other barrels, but is intended soley for Ruger 10/22.
Held in place with a two, fairly large set screws that are flush when tightened.
These have a nice matte finish to match the barrel.
