A third hand for removing the fir ing pin from Remington and Ruger bolt action rifles without lost parts or sore fingers that sometimes accompany this tricky job. Screw the fir ing pin assembly into the hollow shank, and tighten the threaded, steel shank to compress and capture the mainspring. The hollow shank protects the fir ing pin tip as it slides over the pin to compress the spring. The cross pin can then be driven out with a punch, and the spring tension relieved by gradually loosening the shank. it is fit for Remington 700, 710, 721, 722, Model Seven, XP-100, M24, and 40X; Ruger M77 Mark II bolt action rifles.

NOTE: Will not fit Ruger Left hand actions.
